The property includes the original homestead and a large secluded private garden and marquee. Beaufords has been hosting weddings and private functions for over 40 years.  Garden weddings are very popular in the summer especially using the romantic garden marquee.  In the winter months Beaufords can offer smaller weddings inside the homestead which features original 1930’s features and a cosy log fire.

Weddings:

Beaufords is set in the picturesque grounds of Totara Park, just two minutes off the motorway at Manurewa.  The property includes the original homestead and a large secluded private garden and marquee.

Summer Weddings

In the summer months Beaufords is ideal for the Marriage Ceremony in the garden surrounded by gracious Totara trees, followed by drinks and hors d’oeuvres while photos are being taken in the grounds.  For the reception, there is the choice of dining inside the garden marquee or in the main dining room of the homestead.  Dancing under the stars outside by the marquee, or inside the homestead.  Capacity: The marquee has capacity for up to 95 guests (or using a marquee extension, up to 150 guests) – the main dining room has capacity for 60 -70 guests.

Winter Weddings

In the winter months Beaufords can offer a garden marriage ceremony either on the lawn or paved areas, or in the shelter of the marquee overlooking the garden.  For the reception the dining and dancing take place inside the old homestead with the added bonus of a cosy log fire by the bar.  Capacity: 60 – 70 guests.

Beaufords, renowned for its superb buffets, has several menus, both with options.  For the more informal wedding there is also the choice of a cocktail menu.

Beaufords is very experienced in weddings and functions.  Being owner-operated, extra pride is taken to ensure your day is successful.

Beaufords offers an elegant dining room inside the original Homestead, and an adjoining bar area with cosy log fire in the winter. The venue has a dance floor upstairs and an outdoor dance area. DJ’s or Juke box can be arranged.

In the summer months Beaufords offers a large marquee and garden area, ideal for Private Functions, Christmas Parties, Cocktail Events and Afternoon Teas.
